BTW, if Adriaan sends you his <build>/gcc/p/rts/config.cache file,
configure might be able to use the cached data and let you build.
I once did test compiles this way for a system I had no complete
toolchain for (though with earlier gcc versions, but the RTS
configure/build should be relatively independent of gcc versions).

You'll need system headers as well, though (and libraries if you
want to link, of course), and I don't know if Mac OSX's are freely
distributable.
