Yes, I found later out that she indeed does have 20041218.

My sysadmin set up a recent alpha but it crashed on a simple 'hello
world' program. Is 20041218 the most recent stable version? I
couldn't figure it out from the download or installation instructions
at
http://www.gnu-pascal.de/gpc/h-index.html
The downloads seem to have only 20041218 and an alpha but it is not
clearly stated on the pages what is what ...
So - is there a non-alpha version that incorporates that change?
Is there some place on the web site that tells this that I missed?
(I don't see how you determined the above, for example.)
