Are you trying to compile GPC itself, or do you mean the compiler won't
run?

If GPC/win32 gives you an error message like "unable to load cygwin.dll",
that means you have not installed cygwin32, which is required.

Read the instructions in:
  ftp://agnes.dida.physik.uni-essen.de/home/janjaap/cygwin32/

It exists. It's called DJGPP. A v2.0 GPC is part of the standard DJGPP
distribution. If you like to live on the edge, we have a replacement GPC
for DJGPP which is more recent.

This reply was sent using Linux, the OS of choice for those who refuse to
use M$ crap when there's an alternative :-) :-)

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not
necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going
to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly
overhead. -- RFC1925.
