I would really like to update the sources and binaries for Mac OS X, 
based on this version, but there are two issues that have refrained me 
(so far) from doing so:

* inaccurate line numbers in debug info (see 
<http://www.gnu-pascal.de/crystal/gpc/en/mail10675.html>). This worked 
with gpc version-20030830.

* building with gcc-3.4. Waldek's patches for gcc-3.4.0 worked well 
with gpc version 20030830. Are patches planned for gpc-20041218 ? On 
Mac OS X, we have little choice but to follow the latest changes in 
gcc, as they reflect the changes in a fast evolving OS - Apple is doing 
quite a lot of work in the gcc team.
